A brief history of Spain in the second half of the twentieth century. A fascinating story exploring human memory and identity takes place around a small table, in an intimate setting, through a variety of sounds, objects, and photographs. During the session, Xavier Bobés manipulates the past and the future like a magician or a medium: "Last year, the date 1942 began to have a special meaning for me. I found a small diary from 1942 in a junk shop. I bought it immediately and carried it with me, in my bag, with my keys, my wallet, and the book I was reading at the time, "The World of Yesterday," by Stefan Zweig. I later discovered that Zweig had committed suicide in 1942. After reading the book, I began working on a new production. I learned more about our family history from the beginning of the 20th century. My parents were born in 1942. I never paid much attention to numbers, and yet 1 9 4 2 had been quietly waiting for me. "
