The parts of the singers are taken by prehistoric organisms and creatures, including dinosaurs, who have a much richer span of vocal ranges and sounds than humans. The sizes of some prehistoric singers correspond to the dimensions of a tragedy that is yet not fully known to humanity – the tragedy of extinction. The opera has an authentic libretto and music and will be performed in four languages.
The project was created in collaboration with students of the Department of Alternative and Puppet Theatre at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague and musicians from Germany.
