The artistic collective behind the production Cinderella is made up of of Czech and Slovenian creators. The performance offers a fresh take on the classic fairy tale—a fusion of puppetry and musical storytelling suitable for children while remaining open to a broader audience. The beginning of the piece follows the traditional story of a mistreated girl, but Cinderella subsequently sets out on an independent quest for salvation: when confronted with the truth about her past and oppression, she stands up for herself—aided by a kindly power that grants her the necessary confidence and courage—and finds her own path.
