The grotesque image of society comes to life through a mixture of classical marionette operetta, Dadaist a cappella concert, object theatre and "merdre-poetry". The corruption, primitiveness, stupidity and fear of rulers obsessed with power alongside people longing for servitude.

About the artist:
Slovenian puppeteer, musician and director, Matija Solce, and his Teatro Matita are well known in Pilsen for their unique style, which combines musical rhythm with puppet improvisation. For this project, Solce teamed up with the main Slovenian theatres, Cankarjev dom and Ljubljana Puppet Theatre, which are among the most progressive European puppet houses, not afraid to experiment with form and combine traditional craft with radical modern dramaturgy.
