A music quiz with a host and at the same time an energy-packed theatre concert performed by the entire ensemble and many other NTL employees takes place on the occasion of one shamefully overlooked anniversary. The anniversary of the invention of the jukebox!
Just choose a song, push the right lever of the mechanical jukebox, and the SOK band will start playing immediately! This playlist includes only the greatest hits and moreover, time-tested songs! A mix of genres from the 1960s to the present. Pop, rock, country, punk, R&B, folk music. You can dance, listen and watch. There's something for everyone!
The NTL ensemble used the pandemic closure of theatres in the spring of 2021 to restart the theatre band. Under the direction of the accompanist Míra Ošanek, the group SOK – Skoro Opravdová kapela (Almost a Real Band) was born! Members of the audience choose individual songs themselves in a giant theatre jukebox. In addition, each song is accompanied by a live staged "video clip". The selection of songs is limited, but the band's performance knows no limits.
