Skupa's Pilsen: Puppets across the arts
Puppets across artistic disciplines, styles and genres. This is the connecting element of the upcoming 32nd Festival of Alternative and Puppet Theater Skupa's Pilsen (June 8th - 12th, 2016 in Pilsen). The festival program takes the audience not only to the world of traditional or less traditional puppet theatre, but also to the world of grotesque, opera, silent film, rock concerts or non-verbal theater, classical music, painting, videoart and sculpture.
Since the end of April, you can find the first version of the official festival program on the website and book tickets for each performance. You can look forward to the DRAK Theatre, the Naive Theatre Liberec, the Alfa Theatre, this year's new project of Circus la Putyka, new amazing performances of international alternative scene - Sibiria of German Figurentheater Wilde and Vogel and April premiere of Slovak company Honey and Dust, a unique puppetry version of Mozart's Magic Flute performed by German ensemble Thalia Kompagnons, remarkable La Loba, Edinburgh Festival award-winning performance, and other top productions of Czech and world puppetry and alternative scene.
